212 Thermo Changes and Upgrades

Improved Taste

The taste was one of the big things we wanted to improve for the new formula. Arguably, the biggest challenge with powdered-based thermogenics is making them taste as good as an amino acid or pre-workout. Thermogenics usually contain ingredients with a strong aftertaste, especially on the spicy side of things.

To address this, we swapped out the grains of paradise for MitoBurn® L-B-Aminoisobutyric Acid (BAIBA) from NNB Nutrition. MitoBurn® is an equally effective alternative to grains of paradise that offers numerous benefits, specifically around supporting fat loss. For instance, BAIBA has been shown to initiate the “browning” of white adipose tissue. Brown adipose tissue has been shown to increase energy expenditure, improve insulin sensitivity, and help regulate weight management.

Cutting Edge Ingredients

In addition to MitoBurn®, we added 2.5 grams of betaine anhydrous to 212º Thermo. Betaine anhydrous is usually present in pre-workouts thanks to its ability to increase athletic performance, including muscular strength and endurance. However, evidence suggests betaine anhydrous is beneficial for fat loss. Not only does it help with muscle preservation during a fat loss phase, supports a healthy metabolic rate, and promotes fatty acid oxidation while exercising.

Sweat while training, NOT AT THE OFFICE!

Previously, 212º Thermo was known for making users sweat excessively, mainly due to its GBB content. Some found it less desirable to sweat excessively after their workout...like in their car, driving to work! With that being said, 212º Thermo has several ingredients that support thermogenesis and sweating your balls off, without making you sweat after the session.

Long-Lasting Energy

The last major change we made based on users’ feedback was lowering the caffeine slightly and changing the caffeine sources to yield longer-lasting energy. 212º Thermo now contains about ~200 milligrams of caffeine from caffeine anhydrous and zümXR® extended-release caffeine. This combination is great for providing sustained energy that still hits hard without the jitters or crash.
